Set Config Base Directory
- Warning
- This feature is only available in APP mode.
Purpose and Functionality
- Extended Profile Management:
- Allows users to create multiple configuration bases.
- Each base directory can maintain its own set of profiles.
- Effectively removes the 8-slot limitation of HKR.
- Configuration Handling:
- Create a new folder to serve as the configuration base.
- When selecting and applying a new base directory, Clicker copies and reloads current configuration there.
- If selecting an existing conf base, maintains those settings.
Directory Structure
The Config Base directory must maintain the following structure:
Config Base/
└── conf/
├── conf.ini # Main configuration file
├── kmpconf.ini # Key mapping configuration
├── profiles.ini # Profile settings
└── scripts/ # User script directory
Default Config Base Directory

Definition | Parent directory that contains the conf folder | Subdirectory containing all configuration files |
Naming | Can use any meaningful name | Must be exactly named conf |

Google Drive | Not shared | Target folder for sharing |
Location | Can be anywhere on system | Must be inside Config Base |
Flexibility | Multiple bases can exist | Fixed structure required |
Relationship with Google Drive Synchronization
Attempting to change Config Base Directory while synchronized will be disabled. This restriction prevents configuration conflicts between synchronized devices.
- To change Config Base Directory:
- First, disable Google Drive synchronization (see UnSync Process)
- Only then will Config Base Directory settings become available
- After changing Config Base Directory, you can re-enable Google Drive synchronization if needed
Sync Conf Through Google Drive
Share configurations across multiple devices through Google Drive. For detailed instructions on setting up and managing Google Drive synchronization, please refer to the Google Drive Synchronization Guide. This feature allows you to maintain consistent configurations across different computers by leveraging Google Drive's cloud storage capabilities.
